Talk to someone you trust
If you have a friend or a family member you trust, tell them what is going on and how it makes you feel. Talking to someone else can help you understand what is happening to you. They may also be able to help you contact support services and/or to make a Crisis Plan (more details on making a Crisis Plan).
"She said I was wasting my time with my family as they didn't understand me and didn't understand us. the good times together were getting few and far between. She controlled my days, my social calender, the clothes that I wore and the people I would speak to" (Kim, 42)
