Roundtable and Hypothetical Discussion

April 2001

Social workers from St Vincent’s Community Health Service organised a forum to discuss an increase of referrals and the lack of support services for gay men affected by domestic violence.

As a direct result of this forum, a number of representatives from the participating organisations formed an ‘interagency’ and a smaller ‘working group’ to act together to address the issue of domestic violence in gay and lesbian relationships.
